A Novel Technique for Optimized Routing in Wireless Body Area Network using Genetic Algorithm

چکیده

Optimized routing is a technique used in WBAN so that best route can be find when sensor nodes which are deployed over body can communicate with each other. Sensor nodes which are chips inserted within body, or nodes which are in the form of wearable shirts , or which are placed over body parts measure patient’s body’s different signals to check his/her fitness level, his/her organ’s functionality. To check his/her heart, ECG can be done; similarly EEG is done to check patient’s brain activity and so on. Whether the sports person is physically fit to play any sport or not can be checked by the use of WBAN. Doctors or Care givers can remotely checks their patents from any part of world. For proper functionality between nodes, routing is an important issue. So in the proposed project a novel technique is presented for optimized routing so that all the issues are being resolved. GA provides natural evolutionary process which is an optimization technique to select best path out of many different possible routes. After using GA, better results are obtained than previous results. Packet delivery between sensors shows improvement, less battery consumption by while communication, so on. WBAN shows its importance in the areas like computerized games, to check enemy on borders, entertainment, and physically handicapped person. WBAN is popular in foreign countries than India. Index Terms – Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN), Genetic Algorithm (GA), Adaptive Multi-hop tree-based Routing (AMR), and Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI).
